T71/1608: letter, dated 20/09/1835, from Wm. Jones, Haittan, Mayville P.O. Manchester [?], the eldest son of the late Wm. Jones, of Jamaica, stating: since signing the compensation papers for Hymen Cohen, I find my brothers and sister have conveyed them without my consent to W.C.J. Hart, of Santa Cruz, St Elizabeth, to whom they are indebted for goods from his stores; 'the debt does not concern the property'.
