Notes |

[No name given.] In the will of Ann Hinds she said that the plantation of Benjamin Hinds was named 'Saltram'. Although the estate of that name in the LBS database appears consistently under the name of Henry Thorpe, parish records of baptisms record individuals enslaved by Benjamin Hinds as living at Saltram in St. Joseph. See Saint Joseph, Barbados Parish Records 1718–1849, FamilySearch (https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:33S7-9RSL-RRY?view=explore : Oct 31, 2025), image 203 of 923; Barbados.
