Deed of assignment 27/8/1863 by Andrew Mackintosh of Brabant Court merchant to Alexander Bell the younger of Finch Lane merchant of all his real and personal estate and effects upon trust to pay them 7s 6d in the pound, 'in full satisfaction and discharge of their debts', but so creditors of the said Andrew Mackintosh's Trinidad firm shall..be only provided for out of such assets of the said firm according to the law and practice in bankruptcy in that behalf, and to pay any surplus unto the said Andrew Mackintosh for his own benefit.
