Sir Francis Wasket [sic] Myers appeared as counterclaimant as 'owner' of the enslaved people on Pogsons estate on St Kitts in 1834. He was connected through his wife Jane Myers to the Pogson family: his sister-in-law Emily Myers had married Lt Col. Thomas Pogson c. 1806. Originally a London solicitor.
