Biography

The 1829 Slave Register was clear that Mrs Catherine Buckeridge was dead. If that was the case then she was presumably the widow of Joshua Buckridge [sic]. However, it is possible that she was the Catherine Buckeridge nee Hotchkin widow of Joseph Buckeridge (d. c. 1814), who in fact died in England in 1854.
