In his will proved in 1795 Charles Robinson said he held a bond from William White of St Ann for the sale of one moiety of Cool Shade in St Ann and 31 enslaved people. The linkage with the Coolshade estate in the Slave Registers is tentative but is supported by the presence of John Roebuck as mortgagee, who in other claims was also associated with William White. |
