Benjamin Wyllis was listed in the Jamaican Quit Rent books for 1754 as the owner of 44 acres of land in St David and 270 acres of land in St Elizabeth, total 314 acres.
Wyllis and Hall were listed in the Jamaican Quit Rent books for 1754 as the owners of 1300 acres of land in St Thomas-in-the-East; this probably refers to Benjamin Wyllis or Wyllys and William Hall (q.v.), given that Benjamin Wyllys had a son named William Hall Wyllys.
