Biography

Of Kingston Jamaica, trustee for the Gayle estate in 1789-1790, dying at Belfast in 1793. To date no connection with the Liverpool slave-trader of the same name has been established.

  1. 'At Belfast, in Ireland, very shortly after his arrival there, from New York, Ralph Fisher, Esq. of this town, merchant: A gentleman justly endeared to society by invariable integrity, social qualifications, and goodness of heart.'
