Biography

  1. Will of Henry Hamilton Administering the Government of the Island of Montserrat [made in 1839] proved 19/02/1841 in London by his widow Ann. In the will he left his estates in St Patrick commonly called Mountain & Sulphur plantations containing upwards of 400 acres of land and his house on George Street in Plymouth Montserrat to his wife Ann and then to his daughters Mary Ann, Eliza Harriet and Augusta providing that the unmarried ones paid their married sister(s) a share of the rents, and then to his sons Henry William John and William Thomson.

In the compensation records his award was shown as for 'Plymouth' but in his will he refers to the Mountain & Sulphur plantations.
