Presumably a member of the Marucheau family of St Lucia.
Peter Marucheau is likely the same person as Pierre Jean Marie Marucheau (q.v.).

Antonius Marechau [sic] is shown as matriculating 1831 Glasgow University, 5th son agricolae, b. in St Lucia: 'father's Christian name was Peter'. 2 other brothers also matriculated 1830 and 1837.
