Henry Combe Compton's uncle Henry Compton the younger, son of Lucretia Mills and Henry Compton, was co-heir under the will of John Mills of Woodford Bridge, and Henry Combe Compton's father John inherited from his brother Henry the younger on the latter's death c.1786, shortly after the death of their father. |
