  1. 1841 census Simon Barrow Lansdown[e] Grove Bath aged 50 Independent with Jacob 30 Independent etc. 1851 census at George Street, Ryde age 64 magistrate, born London; 1861 census Simon Barrow aged 74 fundholder living with Rev John Simeon Barrow at Nelson House, Ryde. Simon Barrow late of Isle of Wight who died 30/12/1862 at Ryde, proved by Rev. John Simeon Barrow clerk son the sole executor. Effects under £3000; resworn August 1863 under £2000. 

  2. Simon Barrow served as Mayor of Bath in 1837.
