Biography

Co-owner of Woodlands estate in Hanover, Jamaica, in 1810, with John Maxwell (probably his brother). The estate is thereafter registered to John Maxwell alone.

  1. Here lies interred the remains of Patrick Maxwell, Esq, Practitioner of Physic, who resided in this parish nineteen years; he died 25/08/1811 aged 37 universally regretted. This stone [in St Mary's, Lucea] is placed to his memory by his brother John Maxwell, Esq.
