Resident slave-owner in Jamaica, described as lieutenant in His Majesty's Navy in the grant of administration in 1831.

  1. Administration of the will of Frederick Jelly of Westmoreland in the island of Jamaica was granted in London 27/10/1831. He left his property to his wife and sole executrix Mary Isabella Jelly for life and then to his daughter Adeline Helen Jelly, specifying that if he died indebted his wife should compromise with his creditors to gain time to pay off his debts 'by the rent, issues and profit of my negroes and other properties.'
