John Julius junior

Son and co-heir of John Julius (q.v.).

1. Will of John Julius of [the island of St Christopher but at present residing in] Holles Street Cavendish Square proved 29/11/1815. Under the will he left a series of monetary legacies and annuities all secured on his estates and enslaved people in St Kitts: £100 and an annuity of £100 p.a. to his mother on top of the £400 p.a. left to her by his father; £500 and an annuity of £200 p.a. to his sister Ann Mary Wharton Estridge; £500 at 21 and £100 p.a. during his minority to his nephew John Estridge; £500 each to his niece and nephew Mary and Aretas Estridge; £2000 to his nephew the Rev. John Julius Estridge; £1000 to his secretary Patrick Kelly; £400 to 'my friend' Elizabeth Fauntleroy and £100 to her daughter. He let his estates and the enslaved people themselves to his sister Elizabeth Mary Kerie for life, then to her husband Jedediah Kerie and then to their sons Rev. John Julius Kerie and Jedediah Kerie junior.
