Biography

Former partner of Thomas Hibbert senior of Kingston in the slave-factors Hibbert and Spriggs, guardian of Hibbert's natural daughter Jane Harry in England, and builder of St Anne's House in Barnes.

  1. Will of Nathan Sprigg of Barnes proved 19/09/1778. In the will he provided for his wife Arabella to stay in their house in Barnes, and left the bulk of his property to Nathan Sprigg Jeffer[e]y, whose own will was proved in 1782. Arabella Sprigg in turn left St Anne's House to Margaret Hibbert, niece of Thomas Hibbert senior, in 1824.
