Husband of Newton Walter nee Walker (q.v.), through whom he came into possession of the Mount Wilton estate in Barbados. John Walter ordered his estates [and enslaved people] to be sold on his death, and it appears likely given that the purchaser of both was the mortgagee Thomas Daniel that little equity remained for the legatees under the will.
