Biography

  1. Will of Cuthbert Parkinson merchant of Watling Street London proved 04/04/1771. In the will he disposed of specific property in Liverpool to his cousin Thomas Bootham [or Beetham] and placed the rest of his property in trust to pay an annuity of £100 p.a. to the widow of his brother John Parkinson and £2500 each to his nieces Mary and Sarah Parkinson and £1500 to his nephew Thomas Parkinson. The will is silent on mortgage or other property in Jamaica. His residuary heir was his nephew John Parkinson.
