Administration of the will of Francis Blower merchant of St Michael Barbados [made in 1732] was granted 09/06/1768. Under the will he left his plantation called Bally Gulbins [sic: this must have been Ballygiblin, named after the place in Co. Cork in Ireland] to which he had added Cox's, to be held by his executors until 1738, when his daughter Anne would reach 18. He had four daughters in total, Frances, Anne, 'Gibbes' and M[e]ary [later in the will given as Gray].
PROB 11/939/406. NB this will has details of individual enslaved people bequeathed by Blower to his family that have not yet been analysed by LBS.
