Annuitant on Spring estate in Hanover Jamaica with her brother William Philip Menzies (q.v.). Their father had bought the annuity of £90 p.a. on the lives of his children from Montague James (q.v.).

  1. Will of Mary Morthland widow of [Smith Street] Chelsea [made in 1813] proved 24/02/1826. She left £200 to her brother William Philip Menzies, and most of the rest of her property, including arrears on her annuity on Spring estate in Jamaica, to [Ann or Anne] Robina Hare, youngest daughter of Rev. Edward Hare of Docking Hall Norfolk. Rev. Edward Hare (ne Christian] had married in 1790 Robina Morthland, presumably Mary Morthland's sister-in-law.
