Biography

Frances Munton nee Baxter was the daughter and co-residuary heir of Francis Baxter (q.v.). She married Davison Munton of the Excise Office in 1787.

  1. Will of Frances Munton wife [of Davison Munton of the Excise Office] proved 26/03/1803. In the will she rehearsed her marriage settlement of 17/03/1787, under which she was entitled to dispose of £2250 in consols 'together with certain other sums of money and effects due from persons in Jamaica and other parts in the West Indies' to which she was entitled under the will of her father Francis Baxter.
