  1. Margaret Pearson was the executrix for the will of Elizabeth Butler. Elizabeth's grandson John, whose father was Lewis J Butler (q.v.), appears to have been a beneficiary of Margaret's will as he changed his surname from Butler to Pearson.

Lewis James Butler and Margaret Pearson were both executors of the will of Lewis's mother Elizabeth Butler née Cooke who died in 1815. Elizabeth named one of her children Margaret Pearson Butler....
